Plant & Machinery Valuer

Description:
As part of the MBA team within the Birmingham office, the primary role will be the handling of plant and machinery valuations.
MAIN TASKS
- Knowledge of plant & machinery, chattel assets, and values across a wide spectrum of industries (especially within the Birmingham area).
- Attendance at company premises to identify, describe accurately, and schedule plant and machinery etc. in accordance with standard procedures.
- Undertake research/enquiries with manufacturers, suppliers, agents, dealers, etc. to formulate valuations.
- Work to tight deadlines.
- Prepare valuation reports, marketing programmes and budgets.
- Organise and supervise pre-sale arrangements, through to final clearance including the management of teams of Porters to set up sales by Auction/Tender/Private Treaty.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients.
- Assist with the promotion and marketing of the division/business.

- MRICS qualified or equivalent experience
